    The Quality Control intern will work with Director of Product Development and Quality Control to run fuel and lubricant quality control testing and develop reports to track sample results and costs of performing samples.

    Internship runs May-August 2019



    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


    • Run quality control testing on fuel and lubricant samples.
    • Develop reports to track sample results.
    • Develop reports to track the cost of performing samples.
    • Communicate with Director of Product Development and Quality Control, Research Laboratory Specialist, CSRs, and Plant Managers as needed to confirm testing results.
    • Build relationships with field employees through exceptional communication skills.
    • Export data from one system into Microsoft Excel and format for reporting and presentation.
    • Know and adhere to company policies and procedures.
    • Follow posted work schedule, and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours worked.
    • Maintain timely and professional communication with management, employees, and customers. Keep supervisor informed of any problems and/or any issues that need attention.
    • Participate in and contribute to MFA Oil’s formalized internship program.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements



    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • A current student or May graduate of current year, majoring in Chemistry or related degree.
    • Must have computer knowledge and familiar with Microsoft Office products
    • Knowledge of good workflow principles.
    • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
