The Break Time Intern will be responsible for development of operational and marketing plans for the Break Time Food Service programs.  This person will have the ability to produce clear, concise and persuasive food service marketing programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Travel to Break Time stores and assess the operation procedures and evaluate the execution of the Break Time Food Service programs and develop action plans to increase sales.
  • Know and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Follow posted work schedule, and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours worked.
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with management, employees, and customers. Keep supervisor informed of any problems and/or any issues that need attention.
  • Participate in and contribute to MFA Oil’s formalized internship program.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A current student or May graduate of current year, majoring in Management, Marketing or Restaurant Management or a related field.
  • Initiative to independently perform assigned tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite to include Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent organizational and creative problem solving skills
  • Outgoing personality that likes to interact with the public in a retail environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Most travel is during the day, but some overnight travel may be required.
  • Must meet Company requirements, including successful background and MVR check, and drug test.Knowledge of good workflow principles.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
