The Distribution intern will primarily work to restructure all parts classifications within the E-1 system into an organized format and assist in any other warehouse duties as needed.

  • Structure all identifying information for supplies and materials into a new catalog format and ensure new format can be functionally uploaded online for intercompany orders.
  • When necessary, read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
  • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
  • Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
  • Wear the proper safety equipment.
  • Know and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Follow posted work schedule, and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours worked.
  • Maintain timely and professional communication with management, employees, and customers. Keep supervisor informed of any problems and/or any issues that need attention.
  • Participate in and contribute to MFA Oil’s formalized internship program.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A current student or May graduate of current year, majoring in Agriculture, Business, Logistics or related degree.
  • Must have computer knowledge and familiar with Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of good workflow principles.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
