This position will be responsible for first & second tier support services for applications which fall in the responsibility of Development Operations. This could include DSI, Okta, Salesforce, SharePoint, DNN or Analytics visualization tools among others.

• Support incidents, problems, enhancements, and projects for all platforms administered by Development Operations
• Recommend appropriate solutions for incidents (e.g., workarounds, root-cause fixes/enhancements, effort estimates)
• Proactively manage issues/risks and escalate them as needed in a timely manner
• Effectively collaborate with numerous technology and business teams across multiple locations
• Drive problem resolution and document root cause
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Create and maintain support documentation
• Participate in release activities to help ensure quality deployments into production
• Work closely with stakeholders and business leaders to demonstrate the highest levels of customer service, communication, productivity, and professionalism
• Work with internal development staff or external software vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues reported
• Assist with improvement planning and business analysis
• Mentor other team members and perform documentation and knowledge transfers
• Provide system support, including researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending alternative solutions or methods to meet requirements.
• Help create, manage and enforce system standards, policies and procedures.
• Work to troubleshoot issues and escalate to vendor if necessary, maintaining updated information to all applicable internal and external users & stakeholders
• Use system reporting features to perform analysis and communicate information to management.
• Participate in software validation and testing activities.
• Coordinate, track, and report on the progress work assignments and/or projects.
• Know and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Follow posted work schedule, and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours worked.
• Maintain timely and professional communication with management, employees, vendors and customers. Keep supervisor informed of any problems and/or any issues that need attention.

Job Requirements

• Associates or Undergraduate degree, or at least 5 years of experience in application support.
• 5+ years of experience in technical support, or systems analysis
• Experience recording and solving application support issues from customers, prioritizing requests and implement and communicate timely solutions
• Excellent analytical, organizational and creative problem solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Understand the need for change management and a structured system for technological implementations and management.
• Basic knowledge of networking systems and Cisco infrastructure solutions is necessary.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Work scheduled overtime and be available for on-call rotation for emergency overtime when the need arises by responding to overtime call outs before and after standard scheduled hours of work.
• Lift, reach, stoop and or bend to retrieve products and supplies from shelves, under counters or stacks of inventory weighing up to 50lbs.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite to include Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word.
• 2+ years of experience developing and/or reviewing SQL scripts preferred.
• Working knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise One, DSI, Okta, Salesforce, SharePoint preferred.
• Exposure to Business Intelligence visualization tools, dashboards, reports preferred.
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows, General IT infrastructure (hardware, databases, operating systems, etc.) preferred.
